Garden of Earthly Delights: a Multi-Sensory Interactive Garden Experience
Tea at Shiloh, Sasha Emoniee
Collaborated with Sasha Emoniee

Garden of Earthly Delights is an exhibit created to cultivate connection with nature through a whimsical biophilic journey in the garden. Each sense is engaged throughout the exhibit, allowing the space for existence on Earth to be a curious, playful, and tactile experience.

6 Earth stations:
TACTILE, TASTE, SOUND, VISION, OLFACTORY, MIND

On selected stations:

On the TACTILE station, we built a harvest garden grown and transported from our backyard gardens. We invited guests to slow down, observe each plant, and intuit how the plant would like to be harvested, offering a moment of gratitude and reciprocity.

On the SOUND station, foraged sounds and Earthly songs set the frequency and bring organic sonic connection to the living exhibit. Live ambient soundscape by composer and sound artist, Nicolas Snyder.

On the OLFACTORY station, we built Earth structures interwoven with live fragrant herbs and botanicals. It invited guests to immerse in every aromatic plant and conjure relational memories with each scent while learning each plant medicine’s power for healing.
